Let's just all pause and admire my city. This is what my Perth looks like in winter, bright and sunny. It's still one of the best cities to live in and raise a family albeit expensive.
Today, I have an OOTD kind of post because I am feeling oh so C'est Chic!

Warm days with a hint of cool breeze is what Perth winter is all about. The likelihood of heavy snow is next to impossible, so outfits like these are more than enough to keep us warm. The occasional chill to the bones cold comes and visits but nothing colder than Victoria (or Tasmania).

As soon as winter started, I envisioned my outfits to have layers, thick jacket (a coat), scarf and beanie. The reality sets in and my Mummy Outfit comprises of a T-shirt, a jacket and my trusty (and overworn) skinny jeans and truth be told, this is my favourite outfit combo ever. As boring as it may look. It's not usually worthy of an OOTD but this is real life my friends, it doesn't get any fancier than this and I love it.

Now shoes, let's talk shoes. Boots and sneakers are friends of mine but there's nothing like an easy-slip-on kind of shoes. Currently, it's all about my Espadrilles! Possibly the wrong shoes for the season but if it's as cute as these ones then I don't see why not. Needless to say, it has to be leopard print or I wouldn't have it. They are very comfortable and I am very happy to report that my feet were blister-free even after miles of walking.

NOTE: These shoes are currently on sale - Link!

The simplicity of such day to day outfits becomes the norm when it works so well and the wearer feels good about herself. I enjoy my dress down days but the occasional work glam doesn't hurt too, I just need to take a photo of it when it happens.

Hope you are all having a wonderful week so far!

I am going to end this post with something cute and adorable, my toddler, one of my favourite person.

I'll speak to you soon xx
