I wore this lot on my anniversary date except the perfume but it deserves some shoutout because it is still one of my favourites in winter. The star of the night was definitely MAC Cranberry eyeshadow.
Covergirl Outlast Stay Fabulous 3-in1 Foundation (Golden Tan)
Hourglass Ambient Lighting Powder Palette
Maybelline Age Rewind Concealer (best stuff ever)
L'Oreal Telescopic Mascara
L'Oreal Infallible Eyeliner
L'Oreal Collection Exclusive - JLo Nude Lipstick
MAC Cranberry Eyeshadow
MAC Espresso Eyeshadow
MAC Stark Naked Blush (not in the photo)
Juicy Couture Eau De Parfum (Original)
It's safe to say now that my HG foundation would be Covergirl Outlast Stay Fabulous. No matter what new foundation I use, I always go back to this amazing little bottle. It makes me happy that I don't need to break the bank to keep repurchasing it but the beautyblogger in me still won't stop searching. Same goes to Maybelline Age Rewind Concealer, that little tube is amazing and still the search for the best concealer continues.
Now let's talk about MAC Cranberry. It's such a beautiful shade especially when paired with a warm brown crease shadow. It transforms my whole makeup into something sultry even when my hooded eyes hides all the colour. The warm red is perfect for smokey eyes and at this point of my makeup life, it's all I want. It's easy and works well with hooded eyes.
I paired the whole look with JLo Nude lipstick from the L'Oreal Nude Collection Exclusives, however, looking at the photos now, I could've used Desirable from the Estee Lauder Pure Envy or even MAC Velvet Teddy. That's the trouble isn't it when you've got too many lipsticks. #epicfirstworldproblems
I had a wonderful anniversary date night and the makeup stayed on like a pro. A few shameless selfies were committed showcasing the good makeup night I had but no flash can ever give it justice so I had to recreate it. I hope you enjoyed this post. I had a wonderful time doing the makeup, taking my photos and also writing the post.
Speak to you soon xx
I'm so itching to get the Too Faced Chocolate Bar palette (Link!) but I saw the new Urban Decay Smokey Eyes palette. Looking at the photos online the Chocolate bar has more warmer tones. Decisions, Decisions, Decisions.
