It's beginning to look a lot like....winter!

Bright (happy) and colourful shades are out and brooding, vampy and dark shades are in. I thought I'd compile some my favourites and share you my Winter Vibes.

It's a known fact that I love winter. I love the cold, being cold and looking pale. Emphasis on pale.
As soon as my wardrobe changes, so is my perfume, makeup and accessories.

Winter Scent and Accessories
Narciso Rodriguez For Her in Colour is one of my all time favourite winter scent.  I am rubbish at describing scents but I am going to try anyway. It's a musky (amber and patchouli) scent almost too masculine for my usual floral-biased-nose but its laced with rose enough to make me  love it.

My kind of accessories in the winter months is anything black and gold*. It compliments my berry nail polishes of choice like the one I talked about in the previous post - Link!

Winter Nails

Two words, Deep Berry. Enough said. (Link!)

 Winter Lips

I own a lot of this shade but this one stands out this year. It's the perfect balance of red, purple and berry without looking too gothic on my Filipino skin.

This is currently hot shade from Chichi Cosmetics Viva La Diva in Lady Bump - Link!
And if you pair with it Rimmel Lip Pencil in Wine then you're set. Wine is a little darker and a light hand outline/application is recommended. You can use it on its own and when I do I'll make sure an Instagram photo happens because no photo means it didn't happen. #socialmediaproblems

Winter Eyes and Cheeks

Hands down it has to be MAC Cranberry. It's the only reddish-berry shade that doesn't emulate a bruised eye/black eye on me. I love it on a smokey eyes paired with MAC Blacktied for definition and lots and lots of lashes.

And for cheeks, I am going to feature a limited edition blush so don't hate me. It's MAC Stark Naked from MAC Red, She Said collection which was released a thousand years ago. It's plum/mauve pink which translate way better on my skin than on the pan.

I recently coloured my hair dark brown and I feel so blah about it. Perhaps I've become accustomed to highlights and/or ombre and the varying shades of golden brown/light brown? A possibility of a red-ish mane is in the future me thinks or maybe not, we shall see!

Ending this post means it's The Killing time on Netflix. I am seriously hooked! Hope you had a wonderful weekend!

I'll speak to you soon! xx
