MONOCHROME & GOLD ACCESSORIES - An OOTD

20 January 2015

These items completed my OOTD.

It's definitely back to reality and work outfits are now part of my morning plans. As part of my New Year's resolution of becoming minimalist where my closet is concerned, I've organised my clothes to just have Key Pieces. I've also invested in some good quality clothing items that I know I will get more use of. So far so good.

Today's OOTD is Monochrome & Gold accents - it is my favourite outfit combo. I think it's classic and you can't really go wrong with it. It's probably boring but it's the easiest to accessorise and it goes well whatever the season is.

Trousers are from Zara. It's currently on sale which is a bonus. It's one of those where the zip is on the side. It fits well and the length is just right and it has pockets! Love pockets.

The top is from CountryRoad and they are almost sold out online. I am not kidding when I say this linen top is amazeballs.  There is a grey one in the current season that I have my eyes on. Please be on sale. Please be on sale.

Shoes are from Zara too and also on sale. Everything about this pair screams me. I saw it in store and I knew she's coming home with me. What's not to love? Nude - check, gold spots accents - check! Black details - check check! The shoes remind me of Ferragamo flats because of the bows, don't you think?

And the watch - let's take a moment and admire this little gem. It's a gift from ze Husband and I absolutely love it. You can actually say now that I am an MK watch addict, but can you blame me? They look classic and fun at the same time. This was my pop of colour!

MK3264 in case you're wondering.
And that's it! Boring outfit maybe but it's a favourite!
