(L-R) Buffing Brush, Expert Face Brush, Pointed Foundation Brush, Miracle Complexion Sponge

These are my favourite Real Techniques brushes. I have to admit that the initial curiosity about using these brushes is mainly because I love and adore Pixiwoo sisters since the beginning of their YouTube career. You can call me biased but you have to trust me, these brushes are amazing!

- They are well made
- The fibres are uber soft
- No shedding (I've had these brushes for more than a year now and it is still intact)
- The handles don't rust
- It's easy to clean

Let's talk about the brushes:

Buffing Brush - this is part of their Your Base/Flawless Core Collection and they come in a travel size pouch. This is great with any loose powder foundation. I prefer to use this with my loose mineral powder foundation because it holds the product and buffs it really well  on to my skin, giving me that i'm not wearing makeup kind of look. I seriously recommend this product if you're a powder foundation lover.

Expert Face Brush - This is my favourite brush to use on liquid foundation. It picks up the product and spread it evenly. I love to use this on liquid foundation that has full coverage because while full coverage means heavy on the face, the brush blends it flawlessly making it look like you've got nothing on but still gives you that coverage you want.

Pointed foundation Brush - this also part of their Your Base/Flawless Core Collection. I use this to blend in my concealer around the face except under the eye ( I have a different tool for it). The pointed feature is a great way to get around the nose or the tear duct area.

Miracle Complexion Sponge - this is a new favourite. I don't own the very famous Beauty Blender but I think this is just the same but on a much more affordable price tag. This sponge is your liquid foundation's next best friend! There's so much love for this sponge it's not even funny. This makes any liquid foundation look natural and effortless!

And there you go, my undying love for the Pixiwoo sisters and their amazing brushes in a blog post. These brushes are sold in Priceline Australia but I got mine from iHerb for much (much) cheaper price.

If you were to try just one item in their collection, I suggest the Miracle Complexion Sponge, applying your foundation will never be the same and you'll thank me later.

Hope that wasn't much of a ramble.

Talk to you tomorrow xx
