You Watch It!

02 September 2012

A birthday present to my self 12 months ago that remains to be one of the best material gift to myself to date. It is worth every penny or better yet my money well spent :)

If you've been reading or following beauty/fashion blogs from all around the world (like me) then this watch has been featured like gazillion times.

Meet the very famous Michael Kors - Chronograph Watch!

Code: MK 5055
This is the men's watch of this model. I chose this over the women's size because I love big watches.

Size really does matter ;-)

It matches everything that I own! I actually enjoy stacking bracelets with it when I am in the mood but most of the time, just one bracelet next to it. I like minimal accessories :)

Here's the back story

First, let me put this out there, It's the best purchase of my 30s! lol

I actually searched everywhere online for the best deal because as you may know everything in Australia is priced like 2x of what it is retailed elsewhere like US. I think if I am not mistaken, this watch sells at around $499AUD when I saw it in one of the shops in Leederville!!

no way Jose!

I considered www.michaelkors.com but the shipping was just too much then I thought Nordstrom online would be better as that's where I got my Marc Jacobs watch 2 years ago but I just didn't get round to actually buying it.

I wasn't in a hurry to get it but it was definitely in my list to buy in 2011.

Then a so called soul-searching personal project brought my feet to Singapore. I didn't think of this watch until I got lost looking for the bus that will take me to the zoo :) It was right in front of MK's flagship store in SG :)

it's a sign!!!

I happily and obediently went in. I started with the sunnies. I thought I needed sunnies.

oh FFS just look at the watches woman!

I turned to the watches selection and there it was patiently waiting for me.

I'll take this one thank you.

And she ushered me to the expensive looking couch for me to wait. Gave me something to drink. Measured my wrist so they can adjust it. And even offered me some almond cookies. I mean is this customer service or what?!

How much is this watch?! you only get this treatment when you're buying half the store right?

I calmly took my phone out and started converting Singapore dollars to Aussie dollars

That's all?!! That's what I am paying? That's it?

The kind lady asked if if I want to get a tax-refund.

Hell yes!

And the rest is history.

It turns out way cheaper (and I really mean WAAAYY CHEAPER!) than what I would accept to pay if I were to buy it online. It was a plus that I didn't have to pay for it to be resized or anything because they do it for free :)

So consider holding to buying it online if you can actually visit a flagship store that is not in Australia. I don't think there is one here anyway. And get a tax refund and enjoy!

Oh, if you already own one (high five!) and you need it fix then find a watch repair shop that repairs Fossil watches because they have access to the same parts :) For all I know Fossil watches and MK are made in the same workshop somewhere in China? Just saying :)

It's a great investment. I promise :)

my (not) Celine handbag :)

22 August 2012

Over a year ago, I was given a gift card for my birthday. I had a mission to get something and by something I mean a handbag. I am easy  ;)

And here's what I got :)

It's not a Celine bag!! I wish it is though. But isn't she gorgeous? This is from Witchery, which is one of Australia's high street brands and they actually carry gorgeous (leather) bags. And this baby is 100% leather, very soft leather :) So really it's a knock-off but very good quality and plus I got it on sale! A very good sale! Thanks Witchery!

Now let's look at the Celine bag shall we?

....swooon......

When I win my lottery millions, this baby is mine :)
Can you see the similarities? I think at one point Witchery had some bags that looked so similar with the Balenciaga bags.

My bag is for sure 2000x cheaper than the real Celine but it looks as chic and it does the look that I want to carry. I am obsessed with this bag that I am always using it and now has turn blueish thanks to my jeans. Bah! Oh well.

If you're a bag woman, then watch out for Witchery sale because they are generous and you will always find something that is worth every penny (or not).

Almost a Celine bag :)
Hope it's sunny where ever you are :)

Skincare routine (updated) - lots of new loves

14 August 2012

Hi petals! Finally got to blog about my new skincare routine! A lot has changed and only 1 product ever so remained faithful. If you're interested with my old skin care routine, check out  this Post.

Disclaimer: these products were personally purchased and not sponsored. Also these work on my skin type and needs. Please research or get properly assessed by professional before purchasing any of these items :) it may work for me but not for you.

I have a few concerns now that I am in my 30s. One of which is dryness on certain parts of my face. Also my age is starting to show (ie fine lines) and also skin pigmentation (ie freckles).

FYI, I have combination-oily skin. Oily on the T-zone and normal to dry on the cheeks.

Here are the products that keep me younger looking ;-)

From L-R: Garnier Skin Perfector (Medium); Estee Lauder DayWear Sheer Tint; REN Glycolactic Radiance Renewal Mask; TrilogyVital Moisturising Cream w/ SPF15; Trilogy Organic Rosehip Oil; Neutrogena Rapid Clear 2-in-1; Trilogy Cream Cleanser; Trilogy Eye Contour Cream.

Moisturisers

Trilogy Vital Face Moisturising Cream - my daily moisturiser and usually worn under foundation. I fell inlove with this product over 2months ago and I haven't had the urge to look for a new one. It's very moisturising and has been doing a great job this very dry winter.

Garnier Skin Miracle Perfector - is my go-to moisturiser on lazy days when I dont want to pile shiz on my face, say weekends when running the errands. It does everything you want it to do - protects, hydrates and primes your skin.

Estee Lauder DayWear Sheer Tint - this is initially my BFF in summer. Like Garnier, I use this when I am lazy to put makeup on but still have that decent "face" as if I woke up looking like a million dollars - er, ok maybe not a million dollar but you get what I mean. This gives a matte finish, great for summer when my skin tend to be oilier than usual.

Facial Cleansers
Trilogy Vital Moisturing Cream - removes my makeup and dirt (after using a makeup wipes) and just keeps the skin hydrated even after cleansing.
Neutrogena Rapid Clear 2-in-1 - my forever and most loyal blemish fighter cleanser. I've been using this product for years now and I know that they keep on improving the formula becuase it never fails to do the job for me. I use this 2x a week or more frequent if I have some stubborn (hormonal) blemishes. This can be too drying to other people so consider yourself warned :)

Eye Cream

Trilogy Eye Contour Cream - I am still trying to love this product. I mean I like it and I think it is a good eye cream and it does the job but I am yet to find THE Holygrail of all eye creams that hopefully won't break my bank. So far this product keeps my under eye hyrdrated and as for finelines, I haven't really seen much difference. This will do for now.

Home-facial Products
REN Glycolic Radiance Renewal Mask - this is one of my new favourites. I used to go for facials back when I used to get 50% off from Ella Bache and I used to go for the Glycolic Peel. I do have congested skin around the nose and chin area where my blemishes usually come out and glycolic peel cleared that out. This does the job in the comfort of my own home. I use this 1x a week and leave on my skin for 10mins then rinse. I will do a separate post for this one, promise.

Secret Weapon Trilogy Organic Rosehip Oil - I cannot say enough good things about this baby. When I put this on at night, I wake up to a baby soft skin :) I LOVE it so much. It really made an improvement to my skin's texture. It keeps my skin hydrated and balanced and heals my blemishes (when I pick them - some nasty habits). The only problem is the scent but hey if you think about the bigger picture - younger looking skin then scent is a minor thing for me.

SO there it is my new skin care routine. Hope you find this post helpful. Any questions, please leave a comment :)
what is your latest skin care routine?
xoxo MsChikee

Rebel Lips

12 August 2012

My recent "Back-to-MAC"** trip led me to this vampy-shade lipstick. It's like deep purple or eggplant or aubergine if you like.

Rich. Sexy. Mysterious. Sensual.
My personal wordplay when I see this shade. I just can't keep away.

This goes well if you mix it with a raspberry colour!! Ha! An idea :)

Love the satin finish as it is creamy and shiny but doesn't move a lot :) Deeply pigmented that it will stain your lips!

**Back-to-MAC = free lipstick when you return 6 used/empty MAC products containers/casing.

Review: Bourjois Healthy Mix Serum Foundation

10 August 2012

I went out to watch "What to expect when  you're expecting" a few weeks back with one of my besties. She's a mum meaning she's read the book. Me? I just want to see JLo.

I love JLo's skin, hair, makeup.

She's known for that dewy, glowy, golden... I want that!
Of course she's got a team of people making that all happen but thanks to YT (my personal glam squad) I can at least try to get that look.

That obsession of wanting the JLo glow lead me to a new hunt for another foundation. I wanted dewy but not heavy. I wanted glowy but not greasy. Problem is I hate that "sticky" feeling that "dewy" finish often brings. But I want it!

My all time fave foundation is Nars Sheer Glow (for winter) and i would set it with a powder which really defeats the purpose of the glow part and the shade I am using now no longer matches  my skintone! :(

I've watched YT videos, read blogs and perused the aisles of not 1 but 4 Priceline locations in a week. A bit obsessed to be honest.

and.....i.....found my JLo glow in a form of Bourjois Healthy Mix Serum!

I believe that the serum formula is the newer one but they have an original version which is for oily-combination skin... and girls (and boys) I have oily-combination skin.... eeeek!

Reasons why I (still) chose the serum formula:

- it's the closest dupe for Chanel Vitalumiere foundation which I've been wanting to get but couldn't justify the price.

- it's a gel formula (in my head it's more hydrating in winter?)

- Pixiwoo recommended it (enough said)

Bourjois Healthy Mix Serum Foundation in 56

Excuse the photo but that's the best natural lighting I could get to show the "glow". I've had compliments when I am using it so really I am starting to adapt to the "dewy" look. It can sometimes look oily or maybe it's just me since I really like powder finish but I just dust my T-zone with setting powder and would blot excess oil with tissue throughout the day and that works fine. My skin feels and looks healthier. I just have to make sure that I am glowing in all the right places.

They claim that it lasts 16hrs.... well let me be another soul to reject that claim as it doesn't last that long (even with a primer), perhaps a good 5hrs on my skin maybe longer on drier skins?

They said it has fruit extracts that's why it's healthy and I would give stars on that because it hasn't broke me out.

It's medium coverage so it looks more natural. My freckles still shows through but with a more even toned skin.

It has a fruity scent but I find it ok and non-offensive. It might be strong for others who's not a fan of scented foundation. But I like it better than Nars to be honest when it comes to scent.

It sells at about $25.99AUD at Priceline. So really price wise, it's not that far off from your highend foundations but then again we are in Australia. Cosmetics are expensive here.

All their shades have yellow-undertone so it's good in neutralising any redness on your face and works well on yellow-undertone skin complexion (ie Asian). The only downside colour-wise is there not enough shades to choose from especially for our sisters with darker skintone. I got the darkest shade in 56.

I wouldn't recommend this to extremely oily skin only because it's going to be a challenge in preventing it from sliding off your face. But will work on combination skin and I think best on combination-dry skin.

I would probably buy the original formula next time but for now I am loving my version of a JLo glow with a few blotting actions here and there throughout the day.

Have you found your Jlo glow?

Coral me happy!

07 August 2012

Gloomy.
Winter.
Cold.

There are literally 50 shades of grey in my closet and I was dying of some colour and some pop.

One day (4 days after my birthday**), I went to the shops to browse. Harmless, no agenda. The plan was to get some more birthday pressies for another July baby.

Managed to skip almost everything that is tempting until a huge sign hit me in the face. 30% off on all Essie nail polishes. Result! I mean this is the pop of colour that I wanted.

Funny how I got all excited by just 30% but if you live in Australia you'll understand.

.....So there I was standing in front of what seems to be a million shades of happy. Thirty-minutes later and a few missed calls, I decided the colour.
Essie Nail polish in Tangerine.
It's definitely one of the best coral shades that I've used and it's opaque enough that you can do a single coating and it's not streaky at all. Like I said, I stood there for 30mins deciding which one to get. There are like a million choices and it just had to come down to what will compliment my jewelry (usually gold) and skin tone. So I opted for a warmer coral.

This shade truly makes me happy and very spring.

Next hunt is back on mint green and for sure a future eBay purchase is going to happen.
Suggestions are welcome :)

**Had to be specific that this was purchased within my birthday week....lol.. I deserved it ;-)

new name same blog!

04 August 2012

Hi Petals! I finally got around to changing my blog title to something more appropriate name based on what I really wanted this blog to be in the first place.

Old Name: www.excellentmakeup.com

New Name: www.currentobsession.net (soon to be live once the redirection happens!)

New name same blog :) www.currentobsession.net
It's a new name - CurrentObsession but the blog theme remains the same. I'll still be blogging about all girly things that I am currently obsessed about and maybe a few travels and food listings. But expect makeup, skin care, shopping, jewellery, shoes, perfumes..well you get the picture.

So the site is still a work in progress so please excuse the blandness but expect new things popping in and out of this site in the coming weeks. I actually thought of putting the site offline while I am revamping it but I thought nah, just roll it into 'operation'.

If I were Beyonce, this blog is my Sacha Fierce (or not)

 Toast to the new name!

New Product Love: Maybelline Instant Age Rewind Treatment Concealer

03 August 2012

Lo and behold, I finally found something and by something I mean concealer that works (for now). I have this on going quest to finding an eye treatment/concelear for my dark circles and I often find a product that works for a period of time then it won't.. bummer!

Initially, I was so inlove with Garnier 2-in-1 tinted eye roll-on and it was my "secret weapon" for months (see post here) then just lately it stopped working for me or maybe I am getting more tired than usual?

I happen to watched MakeupbyTiffanyD July favourites and she swore by this product.
That's enough for me to get sucked in and my itchy hands just wanted to get hold of it like right now... and just like any skincare fanatic like I am, I got this the very next day with a new foundation which will be reviewed in a few days :)

What Maybelline says:

"Erases dark circles, fine lines and puffiness"

Why You'll Love It

• Micro-Corrector Applicator micro-fills and smooths imperfections.
• Active formula with Haloxyl reduces the look of puffiness and shadows while fading the appearance of under-eye circles.

What I think about it?

Packaging - love the twist-turn and the soft sponge applicator. I also love that you can see how much you've used and how much is left. The sponge applicator is really soft so it's doesn't tug or pull your under eye.

Scent - none! well i can't smell anything not that it will bother me coz it's not directly to my nose but I tried smelling it and I got nada.

Consitency/Formula - It's creamy in texture and can be compared to MAC's select cover up concealer. It's easy to blend and it sits well under the eye especially if it's set with a powder.

I've been using it for 2 weeks going 3 and I can see the difference now when I am not wearing makeup. I can actually see a great improvement on the dark circles side of things. It's lighter and I don't look tired as much as before. I even got compliments from the other half the other day so that's a plus :)

The active ingredient "Haloxyl"seems to be working on the puffiness as promised because I don't look like I just woke up at 10am when I've been at work 3 hours before that. I googled Haloxyl and got  "is a combination of active ingredients able to absorb and eliminate colored blood pigments in the skin that are responsible for dark cicles" - damn right I copy-pasted that :)

And...and...and, that annoying co-worker who always tell me "you look tired" when I actually feel fine and I put makeup on hasn't been saying those 3 deadly words for days! Something right is happening I say :P

As for fine lines, well I am not going to hope high that it will be "erased" because in all honesty I am getting older and this is inevitable (cue sad face) but if I can slow it down from coming up for as long as I can then I'd be very happy and pleased.

Oh, I'm happy to see Goji berries as an ingredient as well. I've been a fan of it and I eat dried goji berries and even at one point drank shots of goji berry juice in the morning.

Price - it's OK for a drugstore brand. I can't really remember how much I got it from Priceline but it was on sale when I did. I think if you know your shade then you're best to buy it online and direct from US because it will be cheaper than here where everything is priced like gold. But that's just a suggestion :)

Colour - That's the downside of things. It only has 3 shades and I got the darkest one in Medium.  And even this shade Medium is still lighter than my normal shade (NC42 in MAC) but it's still close enough. I tend not to highlight my under eye ala Kim Kardashian because of the puffiness but like I said this concealer helps a lot in de-puffing (if ever that's even a word) so I really don't mind that it's a shade lighter. So if you're darker than NC42 then Medium is going to be way too light however they have a fourth shade which really is not shade but more a highlighter/illuminiser that might work for you. I didn't get this one as I want coverage.

Would I recommend it?

Yes I would, if you get a shade that works for you yay! But hopefully Maybelline will extend the range in the future for our sisters with darker skintone can also enjoy the goodness that this little bottle brings :)

Is this my HG? not sure yet. I am sure there will be new products that will come out in the future that promises the same and will work better just because of the beauty community we have now, these companies get the feedback they needed to improve their products... i hope! so keep on blogging I say :)

What's your secret-weapon concelear at the moment?

Product Review: Trilogy Face Cream Cleanser

02 August 2012

Hello petals! On to another review on one of the Trilogy products that I am currently loving so much. I actually space out my review now because of other work commitments.

By the way, are you following the Olympics? I have been but it's just a little difficult because of the time difference but I still get to watch some events. I really want to watch the Dream Team (basketball, USA) but the timing is crap. Other than that I've been pretty happy with how Australia is going :) (Aussie, Aussie, Aussie! Oi Oi Oi)

So on to the review shall we?

I initially got this in a travel size package together with the Rosehip oil that I am still obsessed about from Priceline. I didn't think highly of this at first because it wasn't something that I initially went for, it just happen to be part of the package but did it surprise me? Yes it did.

Packaging

I think it's clean and smart to have a pump however I am not a fan of the glass bottle simply because i am glumsy and my bathroom tiles are not bottle-friendly. I guess it's nature friendly but it just makes everything fragile when this is being used.

Scent

I've been trying to pinpoint where I actually smelled this before. How can I describe it?.. it smells like fresh in a non-citrusy way. Fresh as in less-chemical way is what I mean. Oh wait, here's a better one, if you've used Philosophy's Puruty cleanser - then they kinda smell similar if not the same.
If you're not a fan of heavily scented cleansers then this is a good option.

Cleansing effect?

It's not as bubbly as I am used to when it comes to cream cleansers but it really cleans your face and remove all makeup. Please note that you still need to use an eyemakeup remover to remove your eye makeup. And oh another thing I like about this is I find that it's less drying than my normal cream cleanser so it's a plus. You know that feeling after washing your face and you see it all clean but it's also tight and dry, it doesn't happen with this cleanser :)

Would I recommend it?

Absolutely!
I mean if you're a fan of all natural, paraben-free, organic type of facial products, then this range is a must-try for you. Their Rosehip oil worked wonders on me so the entire range actually compliments each other.

The only downfall for me is the price. If you're on a budget then this is a little steep but if you wait for Priceline's discount sales then you can get this at a cheapser price. That's how i got mine when they are having 20% off but still it was still on the high-end price of things. This is also one thing that I am considering whenever i think of repurchasing it once it runs out. My skin loves it so maybe that's good enough reason? But to be honest, I can't bring myself into buying it again just for the price.

What cleanser are you using right now?

MsChikee Review: Garnier BB cream

20 June 2012

Hello petals! In for another post :) This has been long overdue post but it's finally live ;)

So BB Cream, if you live in Asia (Southeast and East specifically) then this is something that is old news to you and you can stop reading now but for those who didn't really know BB cream before like me, then keep reading :)

Being Asian, I've heard of this product but being Asian in a Western country, this wasn't easily available unless I go buy it online and I wasn't keen on that only because it didn't appeal to me.

I was also misinformed that BB cream was just all about whitening, something that I've stayed away since I can remember. I've accepted my naturally tanned skin (morena). But after doing my research and found out more about BB cream, I was finally interested but still unsure which one to get. Luckily it finally reached Australian soil some months ago and you know what happened next, I bought one.

What is BB cream?

First things first, BB actually stands for Blemish Balm or Blemish Base, a name that I would veer away from if I am being honest - well it sounds like something for extreme acne problems don't you think?

BB cream is your all in one type cream. It is your moisturiser, primer, foundation and sunblock - all in one product. Sounds too good to be true but that's what they are. Brands like MAC, Clinique, and Estee Lauder have it in their range and so as some drugstore brand like Garnier.

In theory, this is THE PRODUCT for those who hates piling shizz on their face. This saves time and money because everything you need is already in one product. This is the very reason why I finally got one! (easily pleased you see)

Since all I want really is to know what BB cream can do to my skin, I decided to get Garnier BB Cream Miracle Skin Perfector. (you know, cheaper!) The name has so much weight and too much pressure put on simply because it was labelled "miracle" and "skin perfector". Liek what if it didn't live up to its name? (like seriously, great marketing name I say)

"Discover the BB Cream secret - a new generation of skincare that combines the best of skincare with the benefits of make-up in one application! New Miracle Skin Perfector has a lightweight formula with vitamin C and mineral pigments to deliver long-lasting hydrating care with SPF15 UV filters and a light touch of make-up for instantly visible, radiant results. Quickly & perfectly it unifies, corrects, brightens, moisturises & protects!" - from Garnier Australia website

 What I think of it?

Smell - Love the scent. The smell itself can wake your senses. It's fresh, light and seriously yummy but not in a sweet lolly kind of way. It's like cucumber freshness galore.

Packaging - always a fan of tubes. Product comes out nice and you can control the amount and it's handy in size - aka purse friendly if you're one of those who takes their moisturisers with them.

Texture - it's creamy/mousse like consistency. Application is a treat.

Coverage - since it's a tinted moisturiser, then it's less to medium coverage. It's not something you can build up because it will feel too much and heavy and a little bit oily.

It doesn't sink in my skin as quickly as I want but once it does then it leaves me this glowy (almost golden) looking skin that it's almost a crime to put powder on to set it. But with my skin, I had to or else it will just slip off my face in hours. It gave me this perfect looking skin - but not for long - I lose the "glowy" side of things by mid day.

Price - it's on the affordable range and for something that promises hydration, protection and coverage it is a winner to my books.

Staying power - well not sure which aspect of it I should measure, the hydration bit? the coverage bit? or the SPF bit? but like I said, I seem to lose the glowy side of things by mid day and by end of the day, my face is just bare as if I didn't even put makeup on.

Did it even out my skin? any benefits?

To be honest, I didn't see any changes in that aspect. The only difference I noticed was how it kept my skin hydrated compared to my usual moisturiser.

I also did get spots but that's like hormonal spot and not because of the product.

Will I repurchase it?

I am still thinking about it. Perhaps when summer comes and I needed a light coverage with SPF and hydration.

For it's purpose, the price tag is very reasonable. But probably not the miracle skin perfector that you would want it to be. Maybe it is for other girls but certainly not in my case.

This is available in Priceline and any major chemist and grocery store all across Australia.

Have you tried BB cream?

New Product Love: Trilogy's Certified Organic Rosehip Oil - Initial Review

13 June 2012

Hello petals! Long time no post :( and I am very very sorry. It was a combination of collarbone injury and everything that comes after an injury and a new job! But I am back with a post that is very exciting. Perhaps, let's not get too excited because this is only my initial review and we all know in the beauty world, grace period in product trials is essential. I would normally wait for 2 weeks at least but this product I am about to share with you is just too good that results are evident after first week of use so I have to share it! Apologies in advance because it's not a makeup item.

Presenting, my new favourite part of my skin care routine:

How did I learn about this product?

A close girlfriend of mine introduced me to it. She was raving about it and told me to give it a try. Since I was already on a hunt for something new to add to my skin care routine not to mention my strong refusal on repurchasing a very expensive serum, I decided to buy the trial size to find out what is all the hype about. (Note: I bought the starter kit from Priceline for A$26.99, it comes with  the cream cleanser and the vital moisturising cream, both deserve separate blog posts to be honest)

I still did my homework. I've read countless online reviews and even watched some YouTube videos just to feed my curiosity a little bit more before committing on to buying a bottle. I think for some, I was..what's the word... I was obsessed about it. Who wouldn't? There were far more good reviews than bad ones. And the bad ones are normally from ladies that are allergic to oil or just too young to be using this product.

This product promises:
  • to calm your combination skin and make it more balanced
  • to minimise any fine lines and even stretch marks
  • to soften your deep wrinkles
  • to hydrate your thirsty skin
  • to repair your skin from scars
  • to give your skin that luminosity and glow
In other words, it promises healthy, smooth and glowing skin!

I was scared that it's going to break me out because it's oil and I have combination skin with oily T-zone. I am also prone to hormonal breakouts (the nasty ones! the ones that starts deep, grows big and hurts the most - thank you hormones!) so I wasn't really convinced initially. But you know what they say, you gotta be in it to win it and I want everything that this rosehip oil promises so I joined the bandwagon!

Intial thoughts

I think this product should be used by women in their late 20s and older only because women my age and older requires more hydration and we have more visible signs of ageing compared to those in their early 20s.

I love how you can see results in the first few days of using it. In my case, it was glowing and very very smooth skin the first week. I was very impressed Trilogy!

I am not a fan of the scent as it reminds me of fish oil so I am going to try their new formula - Rosehip Oil Antioxidant+ and hopefully it smells nicer than the original one. At this point, I am using their Hydrating Toner Mist to counter act the smell, something that my close girlfriend suggested as well.

My post-blemishes (aka those that I picked..booo! I have some bad habits you see) healed faster than usual.

I had one deep and painful hormonal pimple just 2 nights ago and that is now gone and it didn't even made it to the surface! That's something I am very pleased and I am hoping it was the Rosehip oil! hehehe

What I am hoping to get in the long run

1. Even skin tone - this is partially my fault to be honest because I pick my spots so I get all those nasty after blemish dark spots

2. A much more balanced skin. I don't mind combination skin to be honest. I'd rather have that than dry skin but I would like my T-zone to produce just enough oil (in whatever season) if possible.

3. Less scar visibility! Now if my collarbone surgery scar can fade a tiny bit more from this oil then I would be very very pleased!

4. Slow ageing process :) I don't mind wrinkles, I think it adds character but I do mind when they start coming sooner than expected. I am hoping that my frown lines will be a little bit subtle (if that's possible) and so as my under eye fine lines.

5. Minimise my skin congestion if possible.

Basically, just clear, healthy, glowing and smooth skin :) not too much to ask for.
